hope?

high expectations lead to high hope, therefore when things go smoothly you get satisfaction. But when things backfired, disappointment is the undesirable result.
low expectations give low hopes but that doesn't means no hope at all. Just that it gives a better security to what the result will be. but who would want to have low expectations of sth?
that's why,
im letting my hope to hang in middle,
cause to let it fall into any of the categories
I would see undesirable outcome.
dont stop trying - this I have been convincing myself for a long time
